Locked In🔐 earned for a 3-day streak!

My extensions feel more effortless when I stop gripping the position and focus on lengthening through it. Alsoooo when I’m not focused on the picture in the mirror and instead feel the position! It’s so hard to shift away from the ‘outcome’ mindset. Its a journey!!

Oh my gosh happy birthday!! 🎉🎂🎈

Some of the exercises are familiar and some are so hard! But I’m excited to feel stronger as I progress. The easier/higher extensions I think will just be the cherry on top!

My goal this block is to focus on arabesque!! I of course want to work on all three, but it can be hard to fit in all 5 days so I am setting a goal I can stick to and the rest is bonus! I want to prioritize arabesque as I’ve always wanted to feel beautiful in the iconic ballerina position. I can’t wait to see the improvements not just in the look but in the feel of it.

Side note - did Day 2 today and wooooo my hips!! Anyone else 😅

We got this everyone!!! Lets gooooo🫰🏼💕

My goal with this challenge was to strengthen my pointe work in some back to basics with strong and smooth releves. No video this week because I forgot with all the holiday and performing shenanigans!

I think my biggest struggle has been time management. Between work, performing events every week, and just taking care of life things I am trying to fit in costume creation, rehearsal, dance class, and of course the training/workouts here from TBB! I will congratulate myself on making my space reflect my priorities and am very lucky to have some room in the garage to dance/train. Having that space so close does help eliminate barriers and lowers the activation energy needed to get going!

Video upload seems to be a bust, but here is a screenshot from my progress video! Getting back to full pointe strength is never fun after some time away but slow and steady makes the progress 😊

Hello friends!! My goal is to get back in the boots, so I am going to mark my progress back to dancing on pointe with the humble releve. I’m talking slow, controlled, steady, reps, and by end one leg in center. Simple but a great barometer.

We got this everyone!!
