Hey y’all! I think the biggest skill I’m working on this 8 weeks is a mindset shift to “progress over perfection.” I know it’s more of a mantra than a specific skill per say, but I think it’s really what I need to be thinking about right now. Instead of performing this holiday season, I’m just simply working on getting back to dancing at all, and my goal right now is to be back in weekly classes consistently. I started by getting back to the gym with TBB, so now I’m trying to add back the dance training piece in. I’ve been trying to get back in the studio for months, but its been hard to get out of my head and out of the perfectionism mindset. So, that’s my focus that I want at the forefront of these 8 weeks: Progress over Perfection :) (hopefully it’s already working as I attended a Contemporary class after the gym today and hoping to hit ballet in the AM! 🥳✨💃🩰)

This Back in Season split has been so incredible! Shout out again to Lili for being everything we need and more—you (and your platform) are such a gift and such a badass resource. This month, my consistency and enjoyment of the gym have definitely improved. I feel so much more confident and excited to go and do my workouts, which is a feeling I’ve been craving. With that, I have already noticed my joint stability and core strength improving—so much less clicking and popping, which I’m honestly shocked by bc I never thought that could improve and definitely not after only a few weeks of consistent gym training. Lili, you are a miracle worker !! 🔥🙌💋✨✨

Also, just wanted to show some gratitude for Lili and this app and this community. Lili, you absolutely KILLED IT with this new format. Loving it already. It makes everything feel so manageable and intentional, which is really helpful in calming any anxieties that come up with this process. Thank you Thank you Thank you !!

Had a couple big wins this week 🤩🥳!! Monday was the first day I feel like I really locked in and was able to do a full workout in my gym without feeling like an imposter, so much more comfortable and it felt awesome. I’ve kept it up yesterday and today, and even when I was crunched for time, I still got it done so feeling pretty proud 💪🥳🥳
