I don’t currently take dance classes so I can’t really tell for now exactly about the pirouettes. But I definitely feel more strong and less pain (knees, lower back) during my shows in the weekends when I did some of the workouts during the weeks! Even if after doing the integrated strength one (that I love, but it’s really hard and long 😭), I have horrible muscle sore 🤣 but that means it works wonderfully 😁

Happy birthday !! 🥳🎉🎉For these last weeks, I haven’t been using the app because my schedules are changed and didn’t had time to go to the gym, I had to take care of small injuries, so I can’t wait to be back training with the whole community !

I hope you can heal properly soon and go back to your dancing soon 💐🌸 stay strong and don’t be too discouraged, take that time to rest your body, I know how frustrating it can be when it lasts longer then expected

I didn’t went a lot to the gym this month, first had holidays, then started the gym again, but then went to see my nieces and after that got pretty sick 🫠 I had to struggle a lot then with body image issues, feeling I didn’t train enough and having the feeling I get fat. So I think my biggest takeaway is: it is ok to have moments when you do less because of different reasons, don’t fear to rest and think you’ll lose everything, you will eventually go back to it. Training is not a straight line 😊

What has helped me a lot that I introduced recently in my pre-shows warm ups is active stretching for 30 min. It really helps my body to go with strength and dynamic in its full range of motion and flexibility capacity, without feeling I strain my muscles.

Yes I agree with that it’s soo good to be more gentle on ourselves and not try to be perfect, but instead just doing something! 💪🏻congratulations on being able to do it 😊
