Hi everyone ! Christmas shows at the cabaret started, we have new pretty costumes, but also right now a lot of shows, so I have been struggling with finding time to train 😅 I try to focus on stamina, joint protection and legs when I can, but also in full performance weeks + the days I take lots of dance classes, I don’t do extra workout, if not I realize my body is tired when I perform… So I still need to find the balance and know when I should actually rest and recover and when to workout :)

Awww in France it will be 11pm and I have a show this night 😭I will see if I can still join after if it is still on ☺️

Hey! I would love to share my video but I just realized it is not possible to upload a video on the chat… is there any solution to it The Barbell Ballerina ?😊

Wow this sounds so nice! Would love to see it 😍 merde to you!!

So nice to see what everyone is doing! Well I work in a cabaret since September until next july, so we basically do always the same show several times a week. This november and december will be intense with a lot of shows, so the training definitely helps me to stabilize my joints and reduce pain in knees and lower back, even though I cannot train super regularly every week!

So I am currently dancing in a cabaret, and I am dancing the french cancan. One skill I would like to improve is my jump split. I would be able to be in a full split in the air already before landing, because it is what’s giving this impressive effect! I probably need to focus on active stretching rather than passive, in case you have suggestions The Barbell Ballerina how to improve a fast split in the air, that would be awesome ! 😊

What improved is my joint stability, I have way less pain in my knees thanks to the lower body workout, and thanks to the app, I have learned to be consistent in trainings, even if it is hard to fit everything in, but I am really proud! 💪

Hi everyone ! So excited to be part of this community 😍 those 2 first weeks of September, I am in full rehearsal because my cabaret Premiere this Saturday, soo I will start with the challenge from the 15th and I can’t wait to get back to my trainings sessions! My goal for September and October is to gain strength (especially back and legs)and stamina, so I prevent injuries during my intense performances that will come up! 😊
